07:23 pm - The Break is over! I forget to tell you! I bought a new car! Yup I broke down and joined the BMW club, but I joined in my own unique way. I bought a MINI Copper S with RED leather interior. I LOVE IT! It is a stick (duh) so I had to learn. It was/is well worth it though. The little car sure has power. It goes through six gears so sweetly and wants to go faster. The insurance sucks because it is a sports car. I still love the car.
Time to go ride again. Tremblant was F@cking amazing. We drove to Quebec on thursday making stops at UVM and the liquor store (duh!). Crossed the border sat in rush hour in Montreal forever. Ahhh. Finally got to the mountain at night during a snow storm that dropped 12"+ of fresh Champlain power on the hill. Ahhhh how lovely snow is when you want it. The mountain is very nice. One slight problem. It is COLD. -1 degrees cold. yikes. Shopping and apres ski is amazing. The question that all have asked me: "Would you want to go again?" I say "Nope. Been there done that there are so many other places to see no need to start repeating!"
We are off to Stowe this weekend. I have never been and I am holding strong to the goal of riding as many different mountains this season as possible. The cool part is that the season is extended to August when we go to Argentina to ski the Patagonia range! So where have I been this ski season?
WaWa-MA(first day out) Okemo-VT Bromley-VT Sugarbush-VT Stratton-VT Jay Peak-VT (my new favorite) Mont-Tremblant-CAN(vacation week)
Up next: Stowe Okemo-VT (company trip) Stratton Barioloche-Argentina
The goal this season and is break 15 days of riding. So far so good.

12:20 pm - One Wedding and a Funeral Well they say weddings are an emotional rollercoaster. Well come a take a ride with Gerry and I. Hold on tight. Ready. Set. Go!
Wednesday his grandfather was not doing well. We went to see him at the nursing home. The had moved him to hospice care. Friday he was stable. Saturday I got up took a shower and drove to Reading to try on my dress with Ting.We then go to Burlington Mall. Gerry's bestman calls me tells me he is tuck in traffic He then asks me to pick up Gerry and drive him to Braintree. Haa funny yea so I ditch Ting and head home. Gerry has already tried to catch a trin to Boston but it was cancelled any how...I am almost home and his bestman tells me traffic is now better he can pick up Gerry. Yea I am annoyed my day is a bust. I then decide to go to Macy's buy some PR clothes, then drive to see Gerry's mother and grandfather at the nursing home. By the time I get Gerry's house i get a call and his grandfather has passed away. Gerry is not being told becasue he is at his batchelor party. I stay with Gerry's mom and his sisters. Sunday morning Gerry is dropped off at his parents house by the bestmam. We tell him he passed away then we go to breakfast to celebrate mothers day. We ding happy birthday to the bestman and then go to the aiport to drop off Gerry's sister. she will be back to MA on tuesday.
The wake is Tuesday, the funeral Wednesday. On Thursday Gerry and I have to get out blood tested. Somewhere in between we have to pack, clean the house, pick up the wedding dress, finish all the little things, and sleep.
I leave for PR on Tuesday. Gerry leaves for PR on Wednesday.
Now I really need a vacation.

06:41 am - Dress, Flowers, Fish, & 27 days to go My dress is lovely.
Too big for me and the woman that is making the alteration is making me go insane. Still the dress is lovely. I had to buy a halter bra and none wedgie giving panties (so yea granny underwear). Victorias was very helpful. The woman suggested a unitard with shorts. That way I don't have to wear pantyhose,(not that I was even thinking about it because remember it will be 94 and sticky), and if I wear this type of underwear I will not need help going to the bathroom because it has easy access panels you know where. Ha! who knew wearing a freaking wedding gown was so much trouble. My shoes are nice but I think that no matter what shoe I wear I will get tired.
Flowers.
I went to look for flowers for the MA reception. The florist I had an appointment with not only told me that she was in the 'business for over 20 years' that she could give me a better price on my bridal bouquet, than the people in PR. That was after she had the nerve to say the following- Oh your getting married in PR how nice. Now how do you get flower there? What do you mean? I said. Do they have florist there? I looked at her and said PR is America we have 1800flowers. Oh really so you have actual florists? F#cking C#unt! I thought that I would kill her. Then she continues to sell her services. Ha! right. Next.
Fish.
So I added Shrimp to my menu for the after reception party and now I have to send and email to all the guest that circles Fish and ask them if they want shrimp or Fish. Freaking Ay. I did this to my self so I better not complain.
Okay people that read the journal and never leave responses. I am NOT excited yet. Sorry to say that but it is true.

07:18 am - 41 days until PR I am finally getting excited. Okay enough about the wedding (for now)
After Jackson Hole I said I will not ride any more. Ha! Right! I went to Bretonwoods in NH. Then I said I will not go again... Well I went to Wachusett and took some runs. Then I said I am done. For Real. Ha I went to Sugarbush. Freaking Ay. I put my foot down no more snowboarding. Gerry left me behind on Saturday and went skiing with his dad up to Killington, VT. His Dad lost 40 pounds so he is going crazy out on the snow with Gerry. I call them black diamond boys. They are just loving the bumps. Oh yea our winter sucked but in the past 3 weeks the mountains have had some spring snow storms that have brought plenty of powder to the slopes. I want to go sooo bad. But I am holding back. I have to stop. Watched The Masters this past weekend. I like Tiger don't get me wrong. It was just nice to see a different person win. Michelson won in 2006 and Tiger had his 4th in 2005 and in 2004 it was Michelson...get the point? I need to go play golf. I am also buying myself a driver. One that I love. The one I have although nice is just not for me. I need one that is tailored for me. Ping here I come. Pings takes all my money away.
Honeymoon updated-No skiing in Norway or Sweeden. We have an updated travel schedule.

09:14 pm - thus the countdown begin Does everyone freak out before their wedding?
I can't explain to anyone that I never expected that my life would turn out the way it is today. Seems odd that for 26 years I was ok then it all changed.
The change had begun prior to Ger. I give full credit to this unnamed person because if it was not for what they did, how they were, and what we shared I would have never learned my lessons and this super day in my life but be further away. Seems odd that I still don't name them. I never have. Sometimes it is nice to have a secret. Besides they read this journal and I would hate to embarras them. Thank You. If I have never said it before, I will say it now. Thank You!

09:50 am - Ski Jackson Hole! Woo baby!!
My Wyoming trip was amazing. Snowmobiling in Yellowstone was one, if not the best experiences of my life.
The Ansel Adam photos do not lie. Amazing. Old Faithful was worth the 95 mile snow, ice, elk, and bisson populated drive. yikes. Those animals as scary specially 9' away from you. oh yea they stink.
I have never rode such a tall moutain. 10,000 verticle feet of powder is just too much. I was so scared on my first run. I had to sit for 5 minutes and consider my options. I ride down or I wait for ski patrol. I got up and heeled down. Took a break and got on the gondola went down an even longer higher run, and then got back on that first run and conquered the fear. Ahhh. I can't believe that it almost took me 30 minutes to get down one run. The mountain is HUGE!
Got me a cowboy hat and ate some elk steak. Yummy!

08:37 am - back from the Island of Enchantment Ting and I are back from PR. The wedding plans are moving along. I really should have eloped.
We met a bunch of random guys at the bars and we got free drinks. They all asked if we were there on vacation we both told them that "yes. vacation". We skipped the wedding part. Gerry was proud of my free drink getting ways.
I am so tired. I am also counting the days until Jackson Hole. 3 weeks to go. Then time will stand still until May.
Okay gotta jet gotta do some work.
BTW I got a raise 8.5% woo hoo!

01:54 pm - Napa is a victim of it's own success...Ski Tahoe I love Sonoma. Love it. It is was my 3rd trip there and I can't wait to go back. Next trip Napa will have to be skipped completely.
I took Gerry to Alcatraz at night. Sean had taken me when I went with him and I had to go see it again. It was just as good the second time.
Visisted the tall/fat trees of Muir and Armstrong Forest Reserve, drove on route 1 for some fun hours, and took as many scary country roads we could find. Gerry loved the trip. Of course we took a trolley ride up and down Hyde/Powell, and bought some yummy chocolate at Ghiradellie. Went to Bed @ 9pm everynight and woke up @ 5.30am every day. We had such a relaxing time. New Years Day we woke up @ 4am had breakfast and drove to Squaw Valley. LOVE IT! Love that mountain. Gerry and I are planning on returning to stay for 2-3 days and then drive down to Heavenly for 2-3 days.
I am sick. So sick. Spent some time at the hospital. Poor Gerry had to take care of me. I hope he does not get sick.
Wedding plans are moving along. i still can't believe I will be Mrs. Audet in less than 5 months.
